Our process
We are in the Age of Consumerism where everything is transactional, including healthcare. Some hospital providers already use holistic health care, including chiropractic, Chinese acupuncture, Functional medicine, diet and nutrition counseling, and holistic healing. Consumers have a renewed interest in physical, mental, and spiritual wellness. There are more choices now for consumers to engage in “biohacking” to take charge of their own health for greater wellness. Millions of Americans use daily meditation or mindfulness to reduce stress and enhance cognitive function. They also use wearables like smartwatches to monitor biological activity. Intermittent fasting every 3 or 4 days is a proven way to lose weight, boost energy, and enhance resilience. Extreme cold plunges and ice baths use changes in the environment to attain greater wellness. Some consumers self-diagnose symptoms by taking a targeted supplement to achieve a specific health goal. Recent research shows that a whole food diet with plenty of lean protein, healthy fats from dairy, animals, nuts, and seeds gives our body what it needs. This is consistent with taking whole food phytochemicals for greater health. Increasing evidence points to inflammation as the real cause of disease. Integrative MDs prescribe an anti-inflammatory diet or use the elimination diet to determine the cause of the patient’s chronic inflammation. They urge their patients to avoid inflammatory foods. Consumers take a probiotic with live cultures that have both prebiotics and postbiotics to ensure the health of their gut flora where 75% of their immune system resides. The gut flora or microbiome is just starting to get the attention it deserves connecting disease to the microbiome. Consumers want more … greater health and overall wellness, robust and biological aging, and more active living with purpose. Consumer empowerment comes with greater consumer responsibility. Medical research has discovered the aging molecule in the equivalent of 90-year-old mice. Biohackers are already supplementing NAD+. An integrative MD in FL has designed a biological test for age based on telomere lengths. Others have identified certain foods that extend the telomeres. Additional research is ongoing. Medical research has identified a new antibiotic that does not cause antibiotic resistance and can successfully treat an MRSA infection. “The Korean Advanced Institute of Sciences has proven graphene oxide can target and destroy bacteria, including drug-resistant strains, by binding to a molecule absent in human cells”. The Australians used CRISPER gene editing to identify DNA fragments in human cells, thus providing the earliest test for cancer. Penn Medicine used gene editing to eliminate hereditary blindness in human beings. Some believe our adult stem cells form our second immune system. Doctors use adult stems cells harvested from adipose tissue to replace knees, shoulders, and hair. They are also using adult stem cells as an IV injection to boost vitality and optimize function. Clinical studies are underway for additional applications of stem cell therapy. The new Patient Experience model sets up various wellness initiatives which will serve as a standalone profit center for preventative medicine.
